What Are Industrial Gas Dryers and Why Are They Essential?
Gas dryers are specialized systems designed to remove moisture and impurities from gases, ensuring optimal performance in industrial processes. Whether you need ultra-dry air for critical manufacturing environments or purified gases for specialized applications, Delair™ provides solutions that maintain the integrity, safety, and efficiency of your operations.
Uncontrolled moisture in gases can lead to:
- Corrosion of equipment and pipelines
- Reduced efficiency of industrial processes
- Contamination of products
- Formation of ice or condensates in cold environments
Our gas dryers and purification systems tackle these challenges head-on, ensuring that your processes run smoothly and reliably, regardless of environmental or operational conditions
In case of instrumentation applications, low ambient temperatures during the winter, cold storage or extreme expansion of compressed air, adsorption dryers are the best solution. A pressure dew point as reached with a refrigerant dryer would not be low enough in such cases. The danger of creating condensate water or even ice has to be avoided. An adsorption dryer removes 99.9% of the water vapour from the air, resulting in a pressure dew point of -70°C or less.
Companies that utilize high-capacity units, or require extremely dry air, or the need to separate gases - such as automobile manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, (petro-) chemical, off-shore, and semi-conductors, demand special requirements that are not available in standard products. ITS-ATS engineers and manufactures adsorption dryers that meet the needs of the industry.
