The Delair Etsiline CommPact series is a compact waveguide dehydrator designed to deliver controlled dry air for the protection of networks, cables, and signal transmission systems. Moisture ingress in these systems can result in corrosion, signal degradation, and increased maintenance requirements. The Etsiline CommPact addresses these risks through precise dehydration in a small, energy‑efficient unit suited for modern communication infrastructures. Designed for telecommunications, broadcast, commercial, and military applications, the system combines reliable dehydration performance with integrated communication and monitoring capabilities.

Compact Dehydration for Distributed Networks

The Etsiline CommPact is engineered for installations where space is limited and multiple signal paths require protection. Its compact design allows easy installation in racks or indoor technical environments, while providing sufficient dry air capacity to support multiple outlets simultaneously. With eight standard outlets, each equipped with a shut‑off valve, the system enables flexible distribution of dry air across several cables or waveguides from a single dehydrator unit.

Dehydration Performance and Dew Point Control

The unit delivers a dry air capacity greater than 120 l/h at 20 mbar, ensuring continuous moisture removal under normal operating conditions. Under defined inlet conditions, the Etsiline CommPact achieves an outlet dew point below −40 °C, providing effective protection against condensation and moisture‑related degradation. This level of dehydration supports stable signal quality and helps extend the service life of protected infrastructure components.

Low Energy Consumption and Quiet Operation

The Etsiline CommPact is designed for efficient, low‑impact operation. Power consumption is minimized across operating modes, with low energy demand during drying, regeneration, and standby. Low noise and low vibration characteristics make the unit suitable for indoor installations, including technical rooms and network cabinets. These features support continuous operation without disrupting surrounding equipment or personnel.

Communication, Monitoring, and Redundancy Options

The system includes internet communication via TCP/IP Ethernet and SNMP, enabling remote monitoring and integration into network management systems. A web interface provides access to operational data, supporting centralized supervision and proactive maintenance. Optional features include humidity alarms and redundant operation and communication, allowing the system to be adapted to higher‑availability or safety‑critical installations.

The revamped Delair Etsiline CommPact makes it even easier to keep cables dry and remove condensation and moisture using dry air. The Etsiline CommPact is smaller and can be read and managed remotely.

An engineer can access the information, identify and assess problems and change the settings from any location. The Etsiline CommPact is therefore easier to use and requires less employee deployment and less travel time and travel expenses, and is operational again more quickly after maintenance and faults, even if the Etsiline is installed in hard-to-reach places.
